Mirror Box

A swirling vortex pattern where each block twists around its own axis while spiraling outward from the centre — now reimagined as a functional mirror or photo mosaic wall art piece.

Each block features a flat, square top with a bordered recess. The inner square measures 10 × 10 mm, making it ideal for inserting small elements such as 10 × 10 × 1 mm self-adhesive mirror tiles (widely available online). Simply remember to remove both the front and back protective foils before applying.

Alternatively, you can create your own photo mosaic by cutting images into small squares and placing them into the blocks. This transforms the piece into a unique 3D wall display.

All top surfaces are perpendicular and share the same size, but vary in height. This ensures that mirrors or images remain clearly visible from the front, while still creating a dynamic surface.

This design is available in .DWG, .STP, and .STL formats, ready for 3D printing and further customisation.

The blocks are not inclined or twisted at the wall level — they share walls and form a continuous volume, allowing efficient printing without gaps and helping reduce filament usage.
