Description

Tectonic Collision mimics two tectonic plates colliding, pushing a mountain range diagonally through the centre of the piece.

Sharp pyramid blocks rise dramatically along the collision line, gradually settling back down toward the edges — capturing the raw, geological energy of plates pushing against each other.

This five-colour version brings out the collision line with bold colour contrast.

Experiment with paper colour, explore the effect of light and shade, and find a palette that fits your interior — this papercraft is pure geometric art. Easy to make: just cutting and gluing, scalable and croppable, with the calming, meditative feel of folding paper.

THIS IS A FIVE-COLOUR PAPER VERSION

The template is prepared for five colours, with the unfolded blocks arranged on the sheets according to their colour.

The layout grid makes assembly straightforward: find the block number, fold it, and place it in the matching position.

Experiment with your paper colours. You can follow the suggested palette or create your own combination.

HOW DO I KNOW WHERE EACH BLOCK GOES?

The included PDF layout grid shows where each block belongs. Each block is numbered, and the grid shows its orientation and, where applicable, its colour.

The printed template lines and numbers are folded to the inside of each block and will be hidden after assembly. Mark the block number on the bottom base so you can identify it during assembly.

HOW DO I PRINT IT?

Print the PDF templates at 100% scale on A4 or US Letter paper. Do not use “Fit to page” or automatic scaling. Then cut the shapes with scissors or a scalpel.

For plotter cutting, use the included DXF or SVG files.
