What is it?

A printed HEXSPIRE layout that guides the placement, colour, and orientation of every block in a specific Paragami design.

Use it with the required block packages to build your wall art, or as a guide for your own colour combination.

Layouts are sold separately and do not include blocks.

What will I get?

1 printed layout on semi-transparent, 914 mm wide tracing paper.

S and M layouts are supplied as a single sheet/strip. L and XL layouts are supplied as two overlapping strips with dashed alignment guides.

Blocks are not included. Get individual Hexspire block packages →.

How does it work?

Hexspire is a modular system of layouts and blocks. Choose a layout, then select your block colours and their order to create your own version in the Paragami Paper Kit.

This product contains the layout only and is intended as a complementary purchase for your Kit.

Layout grid

The layout grid shows the position, block type, colour, and orientation of every block.

  • Hatch patterns identify colours 1–5.
  • The directional mark shows the correct orientation.

The arrow on each block should point toward the longest edge indicated on the layout.

How to read the layout →

How to prepare the layout →

This is substantially shorter than your original while retaining the actual information a customer needs.

Assembling the layout

Assemble the layout first, then attach the folded blocks one by one.

Start from the centre and work outward. Small variations in folding are normal; starting in the centre helps distribute them evenly and keeps the finished artwork balanced.

How to prepare the layout →

I would remove the longer explanation about inaccuracies causing the artwork to shift in size. The customer only needs to understand why you recommend starting in the centre.
